The competitive exam for applicants to the postgraduate programs for the academic year 2025–2026 was held in the Civil Engineering Department, College of Engineering, University of Karbala. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Nadhim Aziz, along with the Vice Deans, Professor Dr. Miathaq Naimah Raheem (for Academic Affairs) and Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Mohammed Jawad (for Administrative Affairs), in addition to the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Aisar Taameh Joudeh.
The exam included three study programs prepared by the department, which are:
– Ph.D. in Infrastructure
– Master’s in Infrastructure
– Master’s in Civil Engineering – General
It is worth mentioning that, for the first time in the Civil Engineering Department, an electronic correction system using Bubble Sheets was adopted, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy, speed, transparency in the correction process, and fairness among all applicants.
